Farmington Folly
William Seward supported immigrants and immigrants’ rights in a time when America wanted to close its border to the poor and needy. To then give these ‘beggars’ the full rights of an American citizen was folly.

Williams Jennings Bryan–– House of Representatives, Secretary of State, orator, often called ‘The Great Commoner’–– lived in Lincoln Nebraska.
His statue, originally in Washington D.C., in the National Statuary Hall in the United States Capitol, now resides
at the Nebraska National Guard Museum in Seward, Nebraska.
